We know that you will enjoy our awesome CHILLICOTHE FIREWORKS! We care about you & want
  you to be completely safe! Fireworks are an AMERICAN TRADITION, but must be used by adults only.
  For your safety, we insist that you follow these SAFETY MEASURES.

  1. Children Must Not Handle Fireworks. NEVER let children handle, play with, or light any fireworks.

  2. Do Not Drink & Light Fireworks. Do NOT consume alcohol while lighting any fireworks.
     BE RESPONSIBLE! Do not handle or use fireworks if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  3. Obey The Law. Follow your local and state laws regarding the possession and use of the fireworks.
     USE COMMON SENSE. Read all directions, cautions, labels and warnings on all labels. They are
     written to PROTECT YOU!

  4. Have Water On Hand! Have a fire extinguisher, and a hose, bucket or other water supply with
     you in case of emergencies.

  5. Light on a Hard, Level Surface. Always light fireworks on a hard, flat and level surface.
     Grass may be hazardous. To be safe, place a concrete, or other level, non-flammable board
     over grass

  6. Use in an Unobstructed, Empty Area. Keep everyone & everything away from the shooting site.
     This includes people, buildings, trees, vehicles, and pets. Clear at least 30 feet for fountains
     or other ground items and 100 yards for any aerials. Do not light fireworks in dry grass or in
     other flammable material. Never use fireworks indoors.

  7. Stand Clear When Lighting. Never lean over, or put your head or any part of your body over any
     fireworks. Never hold a lighted firework. Extend your hand towards the item, with the rest of your
     body AWAY.

  8. Light Fireworks Safely. Always light fireworks products with punk or an extended lighting device.
     Standard matches or lighters are not safe lighting devices. Use a battery operated flashlight at
     night to see what your doing. Do not use a candle, lantern or any other flame-producing device
     around fireworks. Light the wick and get AWAY!

  9. Light only one firework item at a time.

10. Don't Try to Fix or Re-light "Duds". Do not try to fix or relight any "duds" or broken fireworks.
     If something doesn't light, or lights & doesn't do anything, stay away from it for at least five
     minutes. After that time, pour water over it, & then completely submerge it in water.

11. Windy Conditions. Be cautious of lighting any aerial firework during strong wind conditions.
     The firework should be lit with the prevailing wind blowing away from the spectators. If there
     is a significant wind shift during the time you are lighting the firework, the shooting site
     should be rearranged.

12. Use Care in Handling Fireworks. Do not carry fireworks in your pocket. Always be careful in
     handling fireworks to prevent dropping them. Never smoke when handling fireworks.

13. Never Aim, Point Or Throw Fireworks At Another Person.

14. Always Store Fireworks in a Cool, Dry Place. Dispose of Fireworks Properly.

15. Fireworks are For Outdoor Use Only!

16. Purchase Fireworks From Reliable Dealers. Buy fireworks from LICENSED fireworks dealers.
     Law requires licensed dealers, to carry products that meet the U.S. Consumer Product Safety
     Commission's standards.

17. It Is UNLAWFUL and HAZARDOUS to Make Your Own Fireworks.

18. Safety Glasses, Ear Plugs & Other Protective Gear is Recommended for Persons Handling,
       or Close to Fireworks.

19. Handle Your Pets and Animals with Kindness: Keep Them Away From Your Fireworks Displays.

20. All of our fireworks products meet or exceed the standards established by the U.S.
       Department of Transportation and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for
       UN-0336 1.4G (Class C) Consumer Fireworks.

21. Fireworks are forbidden on Airplanes.
